Jenah Lea Muhlbauer and Jason James Bauer exchanged wedding vows on a beautiful fall day at 2 p.m. on October 15, 2011, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milford, with Father Tom Flannegan officiating.
Dan and Cheryl Muhlbauer of Milford, formerly of Royal, and Jim and Judy Bauer of Lake City, are the parents of the couple.
Chelsey Washington and Elissa Cassavant, sisters of the bride, were the matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda Muhlbauer, Monica Hansen, Molly Burdorf, and Krista Nepple. Adalynn Muhlbauer, niece of the bride, was the flower girl. Assisting the bride as her personal attendants were Amy Miller, aunt of the bride, and Randi Cook (Manwarren), friend of the bride.
The groom’s son, Justin Bauer, was the best man and Jeremy Bauer was honorary best man. Groomsmen were Heath Muhlbauer and Jesup Muhlbauer, brothers of the bride; Josh Hansen, friend of the groom; Marc Hardy, friend of the groom; and Adam Nepple, friend of the groom. Carter Muhlbauer, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.
The ushers were David Miller, uncle of the bride; Jim George, friend of the groom; and Boyd Frambach, friend of the groom.
Following the ceremony, a reception and dinner was held at the Majestic Pavillion in Arnolds Park. The wedding party and guests danced to the band Chrome Union and celebrated with the couple.
Jen works full-time at West Elementary, Emmetsburg Community School District, and is the media coordinator at KEMB-LP/Emmetsburg Chamber of Commerce.
Jason is owner of BPOE, Bauer Plumbing of Emmetsburg.
Jason and Jen are planning a honeymoon in April to Riviera Maya, Mexico, and make their home in Emmetsburg.
