Shannon (Wentzel) and Mike DeWitt of Urbandale, are the parents of a baby girl, Genevieve Marie, born on Dec. 21, 2010. She weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces.

Grandparents are Mike and Jane Wentzel of Emmetsburg, and John and Judy DeWitt of Rancho Palas Verdes, California, and the late Helen Kliegl DeWitt.
