LAKE?PARK - The Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire Titan girls opened the post season Thursday night with a 54-47 win over Harris-Lake Park. The Titans advance to a Regional Quarterfinal Tuesday night, Feb. 13, at St. Mary's High School in Storm Lake.

On Thursday, the Titans jumped out to an early 14-5 lead over the Wolves after one quarter of play, but in the second frame, H-LP found their defense and fought back to cut the Titans' lead to 27-21 at the intermission.

In the second half, however, Harris-Lake Park came out of the lockerroom on a mission, and steadily chipped away at the Titans' lead, cutting it to a 32-30 margin late in the third frame, but GT/RA would hold a 39-34 lead to go into the final frame.
