Ag In The Classroom

ANIMAL?FRIENDS - Kindergarten students of Ms. Emily Jobst learned about farm animals during a session of Ag in the Classroom Monday at West Elementary in Emmetsburg. Students Joshua Nieves and Bentley Krug paired up with their cow and calf photos, while Hancock County Farm Bureau Educator Angie Johnson, in the middle, explained the difference between dairy cattle and beef cattle as Kaylee Noethe and Mariah Biddle showed their photos of a beef calf and a beef cow. The Ag in the Classroom Program is a yearly event at West Elementary and is sponsored by Hancock and Palo Alto County Farm Bureau organizaations.
