WBM Active On Hardwood

WEST?BEND - The Wolverines of West Bend-Mallard/Gilmore City-Bradgate have stayed busy in the past week on the hardwood.

The Lady Wolverines fell to Southeast Valley on Dec. 1 by a 25-40 final score. WBM/GCB trailed 11-23 at halftime before falling in the 25-40 final.

Trissa Schmidt would lead the scoring with 10 points, while Morgan Schmidt followed with six points. Autumn Mogler added five points, while Rachel Fehr and Kayla Hoskins both scored two points each.

On Monday, Dec. 4, the Lady Wolverines fell to Clay Central-Everly by a 42-55 final tally, after trailing 13-29 at the intermission.

The offense was paced by Trissa Schmidt's 13 points and Autumn Mogler's 10 point effort. Morgan Schmidt added six points, while Briley Banwart had four points and Madison Wickman scored three points. April Schmidt, Karissa Montag and Kayla Hoskins all scored two points in the effort.

The Wolverine boys would fall to Southeast Valley by a 45-55 margin on Dec. 1, after trailing 17-32 at the halftime break.

Leading the effort for WBM/GCB was Dan Riesenberg with 20 points, while Cole Hoskins added 11 points and Thomas Fehr scored nine points. Nick Ford had three points and Thad Fogarty chipped in two points to the effort.

In action on Monday, Dec. 4, the Wolverines took a 64-47 win over Clay Central-Everly.

After a 23-23 tie at halftime, the Wolverines outscored the Mavericks 41-24 in the second half to take the win.

Dan Riesenberg led the scoring with 22 points, while Cole Hoskins added 16 points and Thomas Fehr added 15 markers. Nick Ford had seven points, while Noah Fehr and Thad Fogarty both chipped in two points each.

Friday night the Wolverines earned a narrow 45-42 win over St. Marys' of Storm Lake.

With a 23-17 lead at halftime, the Wolverines held off the Panthers in the final quarter for the win.

Dan Riesenberg and Noah Fehr both had 14 points each, while Thomas Fehr added five points. Cole Hoskins and Thad Fogarty both scored four points each, while Dexter Knobloch and Nick Ford both added two points each to round out the scoring.
