Titan Netters Fall At Manson NW Webster

MANSON - The Titans of Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire would battle hard in a 3-1 loss to Manson Northwest Webster in Twin Lakes Volleyball action Thursday night. Game scores were 18-25, 15-25, 25-15 and 13-25.

In the match, Toni Alesch would make 22 attacks and had six kills, while making three blocks and digging out four shots and connecting on 10 of 11 serves with two aces.

Emma Heinrichs made 15 attacks with four kills and added 11 dis while making 12 of 13 serves.

Madison Hough would make 13 attacks with five kills and added a blocked shot. Kylea Fehr also made 13 attacks with five kills, while added 11 digs and connecting on 14 of 15 serves with two ace serves.

Anna Sorenson would make 11 attacks in the match with two kills, and dug out four shots.

Taylor Park made eight attacks with four kills and dug out 26 shots, while completeing 10 of 12 serves in the match.

Chloe Bakken made four attacks with one kill, and dug out seven shots while making six of seven serves.

Madison Norris would add two attacks with two kills, and 10 digs to the effort, while handing out 27 assists and connecting on 13 of 15 serves with two aces.

"I thought it took us too long to get into the right mindset for the game,"?noted GT/RA?Head Coach Ashley Dreeszen. "We were halfway through the first set before I feltlike the girls found their groove. We got stuck in a rotation in the second set and couldn't shake it."

Dreeszen continued, "We took a minute to regroup before set three and we went into the third set swinging hard and communicating and some great things happened. The girls really fought hard and I thought we really stood a chance to come back and win the whole thing."
