Palo Alto County Community Foundation Informational Event

The Palo Alto County Community Foundation will hold an event to update the community on the progress they have made as an organization.

The goal is to educate county residents about the role of the Community Foundation and, and what its incredible growth means for the future of Palo Alto County.

The informational meeting will be held Thursday, June 22, at The Shores at Five Island at 14 N Lawler Street in Emmetsburg. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with a short program at 6 p.m. Light refreshments and appetizers will be provided and a cash bar will be available. There is no cost to attend and no RSVP needed.

"We hope community members and nonprofits will join us to learn about this exciting partnership for doing good in our communities," said Don Miller, Palo Alto County Community Foundation Chair. "It is only through all of us working together that the Community Foundation can make a significant impact in Palo Alto County."

The Palo Alto County Community Foundation (PACCF) gives charitable, community-minded people who want to help the opportunity to support their favorite local causes. The Foundation focuses on establishing endowed funds to provide long-term financial support for nonprofits and community projects.

Members of the PACCF include Chair Donald Miller, J.R. Brown, Stacy Brugman, Rosemary Clouse, Gene Englin, Kathryn Gunderson, Gregory Hoyman, and Anne Marie Nelson.
