E-Hawks Place Fifth At Storm Lake Relays

STORM?LAKE - Emmetsburg's E-Hawk boys earned a fifth place finish in Thursday's Storm Lake Relays.

Once again the E-Hawks' 4x200 varsity relay captured top honors with a 1:34.17 clocking, while the Junior varsity 4x200 group placed third in their division with a 1:46.80 clocking.

Zach Foxhoven earned second place in the high jump, clearing 5'10", while teammate Zach Yates cleared 5'2" to place seventh.

Jacob Myers would place third in the discus with a throw of 125'5" with teammate Kyle Licht finishing eighth with a throw of 109'5". Grant Deitering placed third in the 200 meter dash with a time of :23.54, while teammate Brent Wesley finished seventh in a time of ;24.76.

AJ?Krieg earned a fourth place finish in the long jump by leaping 19'4' and Nick Schany would finish fourth in the shot put, throwing the orb 44'1". Max Dunlap would place 11th in the shot put by throwing 38'3".

Cruz Bowman took fourth place in the 3200 meter run with an 11:07.33 clocking, and placed fifth in the 1600 meter run with a 5:07.71 clocking. Dalton Connelly finished sixth in the 400 meter hurdles in 1:04.33, while Zach Foxhoven placed seventh in the 400 meter dash in :58.26.

Zach Yates earned a tenth place finish in the 100 meter dash with a :12.48 effort and then placed tenth in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:01.23.

The E-Hawks' 4x100 Weight-persons' relay would finish second in :51.06, while the Sprint Medley relay group placed third in a time of 1:41.59 and the Distance Medley Relay turned in a 4:05.27 time to place third.

The 4x100 relay earned third place in ;45.98 and the 4x400 relay would finish sixth with a time of 3:59.55.

The E-Hawks are slated to run in Algona Tuesday, May 2, at the Hackbarth Relays and then compete Thursday, May 4, in the Lakes Conference Track Meet at Estherville Lincoln Central.
