Then Feed Just One This September

August 19, 2014
Emmetsburg News

"Without becoming a political discussion, I ask you this," said Ted Ellis of Emmetsburg. "If you do not have food, and more importantly hope, why would you not try to make the dangerous trip north to the United States? If you have nothing you are risking nothing."

Ellis suggests, "Perhaps if we provide some food and some how some hope, we can make a difference. Let's do this person to person and not as a government."

Together with entities like Escuela El Sembrador and NPH Rancho Santa Fe, WE CAN make a difference.

Ellis has been to Escuela El Sembrador and NPH Rancho Santa Fe: see escuelaelsembrador.org and nphusa.org

What have we done?

Over the past two years folks from Palo Alto County and the surrounding area have provided 240,000 meals for very needy people primarily in Honduras.

Why should we do it again?

The situation in Central America, especially Guatemala and Honduras, has not improved.
