Saturday Sidewalk Sales At Courthouse Square

It's the return of Crazy Days Sidewalk Sales to the Courthouse Square this Saturday, July 26.

Emmetsburg Retail Association has planned a day of crazy shopping, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will also be a Children's Parade.

Emmetsburg retailers will set up shop at 8 a.m. on the Courthouse Square on Saturday morning. Look for displays by Etc., Hardware Hank, Hughes Health Mart Pharmacy, Mainstreet Memories Mall, Pizza Ranch, A Heavenly Celebration, Young's Custom Computers, and Saxton's Greenhouse & Flowers. Look for in-store shopping at Wentzel's True Value and The Glass Shop. Creative Stitches will have special bargains in their store on Friday only.

CHILDREN’S PARADE – A Children’s Parade will be held in conjunction with Crazy Days Sidewalk Sales this Saturday in Emmetsburg. Emmetsburg Retail Association invites children to ride their bikes or trikes, and bring their pets for the parade. Decorations and costumes are encouraged. ERA Cookbook is available at a reduced cost of $10 for one day only. That special price is good Saturday only.

Face painting is from 9 a.m. to 12 noon by members of the Emmetsburg Dance Team. Free popcorn will also be available.

Pizza by the slice and Cotton Candy will be available from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Highlight of the morning is a Children's Parade at 11 a.m. Children are invited to decorate their bikes, their pets and themselves (in costume) for the Children's Parade. Prizes, donated by A&W, McDonald's and Dairy Queen, will be awarded to every participant. Drawings will be held for ERA Bucks and Beach Toys for parade participants following the parade.
