MARSHALLTOWN -- Maxine Finn, 86, of Glenwood Place in Marshalltown, formerly of Emmetsburg, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2014.
Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, June 27, at St. Henry Catholic Church in Marshalltown.
Graveside services were held the same day at St. John's Cemetery in Emmetsburg. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Maxine and her family.

Mary Maxine Corley was born on Oct. 22, 1927, in Ruthven, the daughter of Francis and Charlotte (Noonan) Corley. Maxine attended school at Emmets- burg High School, graduating in 1944, and then attended secretarial school.
On April 10, 1950, Maxine was united in marriage to David Finn at the Assumption Catholic Church in Emmetsburg. They raised their family in Emmetsburg. She moved to Marshalltown in June 2013.
Maxine was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters of America. She enjoyed sewing, baking, and shopping, but most of all, she loved to be with her family.
Left to cherish Maxine's memory are her children: Kathy (Joe) Leonard of Marshalltown, Shelia Forman of North Ridgeville, OH, Vicki (Joel) Bohling of Lake Oswego, OR, Patricia Finn (Danny White) of Portland, OR, Dan (Kris) Finn of Perry, Nora (Tim) McKelvey of Tampa, FL, and Steve (Susan) Finn of Harlan; grandchildren; Chad (Meg) Leonard, Brendan Leonard, Kevin Henely, Matt Henely, Aaron (Nicole) Henely, Alissa Bohling (Paul Banta) , Ariana Bohling, Rachel, David and Alex White, Corey Finn, Colin Finn (Tara Stringfellow), Casey (Erin) Finn, Cavan Finn, Ryan, Patrick and Connor McKelvey, Katey, Riley and Keenan Finn; great-grandchildren: Mary and Max Leonard, Lydia, Grace, Isabelle and Reagan Henely, Hayden Henely, Liam and Lauren Finn, Emme Cate McKelvey.
In death Maxine rejoins her parents Francis and Charlotte; husband, David; sister Izetta; a sister, Frances Marie, who died in infancy; and brothers, Ray and Ron; and son-in-law Felix Forman.
