GROUND BREAKING for The Shores at Five Island - Iowa Trust & Savings Bank Community Center was held last Thursday, May 15. Shovels were placed in the soil in preparation for construction to begin on the 10,860-square foot building. The facility will provide events with a picturesque backdrop of Five Island Lake. The Grand Ballroom can be partitioned into three separate meeting rooms. There will be a small conference room to service everything from board meetings to birthday parties and showers. A full catering kitchen will be available and the lounge will be the hub for golfers to sign in and pay green fees.
