GRAETTINGER - Last weeks rainy cold weather conditions played havoc with area track and field squads, including the Titans of Graettinger-Terril/Ruth-ven-Ayrshire. "We ran against some very good competition and performed very well as a team," noted Titan Head Coach David Peterson. "We also continued lowering our individual times. As a team we placed fifth out of 10 teams and we were missing two runners so that hurt our score somewhat."
The Titans set a new GT/RA?School Record in the 800 meter run, as Marcus Girres won the event with a time of 2:10.03.
Marcus Girres would set another Titan School Record with his second place clocking of :23.94 in the 200 meter dash.
