It was a tough weekend for Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire's basketball teams as they won just one of four games played last Friday and Saturday.
On Friday night, the girls and boys were both defeated by Harris-Lake Park, but on Saturday night, the Titan girls earned a victory over Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn, but their counterparts didn't fare as well.
For the girls, Friday night saw GT/RA fall by a 39-59 tally to the Wolves of Harris-Lake Park.

The Titans trailed 13-22 after the first quarter and 19-29 at the half, but tried to battle their way back into the game in the third quarter. Scoring 10 points to H-LP's 12, the Titans trailed 29-41, but couldn't overcome the deficit in the final quarter to fall 39-59.
Brooke Hoffman led the effort with 11 points, while Grace Skattebo added six tallies. Marly Bakken and Claire Sparks both scored five points, with Katie Olesen, Morgan McGrauth and Alex Oleson all scoring four points.
Saturday night, the Titan girls battled MMC and jumped out to a 15-7 lead after one quarter and a 31-26 lead at the half, but MMC?rallied to tie the game at 38-38 after three quarters before GT/RA battled back in the final frame to score the 50-44 win.
In the contest, Grace Skattebo led the way with 15 points, while Brooke Hoffman added a dozen points. Marly Bakken chipped in eight points, while Katie Olesen, Claire Sparks and Morgan McGrauth all scored four points and Alex Oleson added three points.
For the boys, Friday night was a battle down to the wire, with the Titans taking the early lead at 13-9 after the opening stanza. Harris-Lake Park would come blazing back to score 25 points in the second quarter to take a 34-26 lead at the intermission. The Titans would battle evenly in the third quarter, but trailed 36-43 to start the final quarter., but GT/RA?couldn't close the gap and came up on the wrong end of the 61-52 final score.
Andy Geelan had the double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds, while Connor Sturgill added 17 points. Noah Stukey tallied 11 points, while Taylor Enderson added three points and Mason McGrauth scored two.
Saturday night, the Titans fell to MMC?by an 85-70 score as the trailed through the entire contest. GT/RA would fall behind 13-16 after one quarter, and trailed by a digit, 36-37 at the half, but MMC kept up their pressure and took a58-56 lead into the final quarter before pulling away for the 85-70 win.
Andy Geelan would score 19 points in the loss, while Connor Sturgill came up with 17 points. Noah Stukey and Taylor Enderson both scored 12 points each, while Nick Josephson came off the bench for eight points and Mason McGrauth added two points.
