Lakes Conference Releases Girls Honor Teams

The Lakes Conference has bestowed post-season honors on girls basketball players with the conclusion of the season. A pair of Emmetsburg Lady E-Hawks received recognition on the All Conference Teams, which are selected by the league's coaches.

Emmetsburg sophomores Alexa Naig and Ashton Connelly both earned Honorable Mention recognition for their play this season. Naig averaged 8.9 points per game in 23 contests, and led the team in rebounding with 158 boards, an average of 6.9 per contest. Additionally, Naig handed out 40 assists to her teammates, made 18 steals and blocked 17 shots on the season.

Teammate Ashton Connelly averaged 12.4 points per game in 22 contests and collected 152 rebounds for an average of 6.9 per game. Connelly handed out 43 assists, made 21 steals and blocked 15 shots for the Lady E-Hawks.
