Emmetsburg's Hot Shots High School and Middle School trap teams hosted a tournament on Saturday that attracted nearly 100 shooters. Despite windy and rainy conditions, the competition was intense at all levels.
The host Hot Shots Team One of Emmetsburg would place second overall in the high school division, with Austin Bonnstetter capturing the High Individual Honors of the event.
An Iowa Games trapshooting event is planned at the Sportsman's Park shooting grounds on Saturday, May 5. The event will be count as a SCTP/DNR event as well and a large group of shooters is expected.
