Letter to the Editor
I would like to take a little bit of your time to share with you some changes in my life and in my family's life. I have taken a job as the administrator of Providence Medical Center in Wayne, Nebraska and will start the fifth of December. My family will be staying in Emmetsburg to finish the school year and then will join me in Nebraska. This is our third big move in ten years as I have pursued my career in hospital administration. But this move is different than the others for many reasons.
The many reasons I mentioned are the many people who touched our lives in some way while in Emmetsburg and Palo Alto County. I would like to thank you for welcoming us to your community and letting us be a part of your lives on a daily basis. We enjoyed getting to know each of you, working and volunteering alongside you. We were pleased with the opportunities available to try to make a difference in our community and the world around us. Cindy and I have also been very pleased with the educational opportunities for our children. Both Emmetsburg Catholic School and Emmetsburg High School have educated our children and helped them to define who they are and where they want to be in life.
It has been a difficult decision and one not taken lightly. Cindy and I see some great opportunities where we are going and look forward to being part of the Wayne community as well. But we will miss being in Emmetsburg and will always hold dear the time we spent here and the people we have come to love. Thank you for your kindness, keep our family in your prayers.
