Emmetsburg's Lady E-Hawks found out first-hand why Western Christian stands alone at the top of the Lakes Conference volleyball race Tuesday night in a three-game loss to the Wolfpack. Game scores were 4-25, 8-25 and 8-25.
Miranda Vlasman would make four of five serves and Britni Will added four of four serves, while Shelby Brindley made three of three serves with one ace and Alexa Naig added three of three serves.
Paige Naig added two of three serves, with Jacque Carlson making one of two and Jayme Penrod making one serve.
At the net, Paige Naig made 16 of 20 hits with four kills, while Miranda Vlasman added 11 of 14 hits with two kills. Jayme Penrod made four of six hits with a kill and Shelby Brindley came away with four of five hits with two kills.
Jacque Carlson made three of five hits, with Alexa Naig added two of two hits and Tegan Olson made one of two hits.
Jacque Carlson and Alexa Naig both assisted on a block, while Naig dished out five set assists and Shelby Brindley handed out two assists.
Paige Naig dug out six shots, while Miranda Vlasman, Jacque Carlson and Shelby Brindley all dug out three shots. Britni Will and Jayme Penrod each added a pair of digs to the effort.
