Absentee ballots are now available at the Palo Alto County Auditor's Office for persons who are disabled or are going to be absent on election day, Tuesday, Nov. 8.
Persons can vote at the County Auditor's Office through Monday, Nov. 7, or request an absentee ballot through the mail. Requests by mail must be on the Official Absentee Ballot Request Form available at the County Auditor's Office.
Friday, Oct. 28, is the last day to pre-register to vote for this election.
On Tuesday, Nov. 8, the polls will be open from 12 noon until 8 p.m. at the following locations:
City of Ayrshire City Hall
City of Curlew - Community Center
City of Cylinder Heritage Center
City of Graettinger Public Library
City of Mallard Community Center
City of Rodman City Hall
City of Ruthven Social Center
City of West Bend Public Library
The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. for Wards 1, 2, 3 and 4 in the City of Emmetsburg at the Election Center, 1302 Broadway in Emmetsburg.
