Funeral service for Maxine Webster of Emmetsburg was held Monday, Sept. 12, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Emmetsburg. The Rev. Nicholas Thackery officiated.
Burial was in Silver Lake Cemetery, Ayrshire. The Martin-Mattice Funeral Home in Emmetsburg was in charge of arrangements.
Carolyn Maxine Webster, daughter of Fred W. and Mildred (Lothian) Kinnetz, was born March 2, 1931 in Emmetsburg. She attended school in Emmetsburg, graduating in 1950.
On May 11, 1952, Maxine was united in marriage to Dale Webster at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Emmetsburg.
Maxine was the director of Home Health Services in Palo Alto County when it began. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, church circle and was a member of V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary in Emmetsburg.
Maxine passed away Friday, Sept. 9, 2011 at the Emmetsburg Care Center in Emmetsburg, at age 80.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Connie Webster; a granddaughter, Jenifer Lynn Webster; two grandsons, Nathaniel Webster and LeRoy Webster; a great granddaughter, Ryann Peterson; two brothers, Donald and Marvin Kinnetz; and two infant sisters, Ruth and Myrna Kinnetz.
Maxine is survived by her children, Susan Walker (Donald) of Emmetsburg, William Webster (Christina) of Spencer, Dave Webster of Emmetsburg, and Donald Webster (Crystal) of Hartley; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; three brothers, Dawayne Kinnetz of Stuart, Dale Kinnetz of Emmetsburg and Paul Kinnetz of Hartley.
