Williamson/Follon Wedding

Brittany Kay Williamson and Brady Lee Follon exchanged wedding vows in a candlelight service at 4:30 p.m. on December 31, 2010, at Zion Lutheran Church in Ruthven. The Rev. Luther H. Thoresen officiated.

Roger and Lori Williamson of Ruthven, and Rick and Joanne Follon of Everly, are the parents of the couple.

The bride, escorted to the altar by her father, wore a strapless gown designed by Sophia Tolli. The sweetheart neckline was adorned with Swarovski crystals and the gown featured a cathedral style train.

Katie Sponder, friend of the bride, and Caitlin Henricksen, cousin of the bride, were the maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Leslie Foral and Audrey Kuecker, the bride's friends. Junior bridesmaids were the bride's cousins, Kalie and Morgan Hoekstra and Breighton Egland. Kaisha VanEngen, daughter of the groom, was the flower girl. Assisting the bride as her personal attendant was her cousin, Michelle Hoekstra.

The groom's cousin, Brandon Steuben, was the best man. Groomsmen were Bill Follon, brother of the groom; Matt Dehrkoop, friend of the groom; and Alex Williamson and Ryan Williamson, brothers of the bride.

Special guests at the wedding were Victor and Eileen Rouse and Norman Williamson, grandparents of the bride, and Robert and Betty Ann Steuben, the groom's grandparents.

Logan, Hadley, and Connor Egland, cousins of the bride, greeted guests at the guestbook. Guests were escorted to their seats by usherettes, Roni Miller, Kenzi Mendlik, and Brooke Nelson, friends of the couple. Candlelighters were Ashley and Heather Williamson, the bride's cousins; and Sharon Henricksen, the bride's aunt, was the scripture reader. Guests were entertained by vocalist Casey Henricksen, cousin of the bride, during the lighting of the unity candle. Harpist was Anna Vorhes of Sioux Falls.

Following the ceremony, a reception and dinner were held at the Clay County Regional Events Center in Spencer. Greg and Vicki Egland and Rodney and Teresa Steuben, aunts and uncles of the couple, served as hosts and hostesses. The wedding party and guests danced to music provided by The Rude Band and capped off the evening by ringing in the new year.

Brittany and Brady honeymooned at Lake Tahoe. They have made their home at Everly.
