Irish Open - Golf And Fun For A Great Cause

The Second Annual Emmetsburg Catholic School Irish Open Golf Tournament attracted 68 golfers to the Five Island Golf Course on Sunday, June 28. The fundraising tournament benefits the Emmetsburg Catholic School.

This year, the coveted Green Helmet Traveling Trophy was captured by the foursome of John Spies, Bill Brennan, Matt Mueller and Tim Rodemeyer, who shot an 18-hole score of 47 in the best-ball tournament.

The event was capped off with the banquet to honor Don Bormann as the First ECS?Alumni of the Year on Sunday evening at the Holy Family Parish Center.
