E’Hawk Golfers Ready For Friday’s District

After finishing second last Friday in the Class 2A Sectional golf tournament at Okoboji, the Emmetsburg E’Hawks are finishing their final preparations for this Friday’s Class 2A District Tournament. The district meet is being hosted by Fort Dodge St. Edmonds’ High School and will be played at the Lakeside Golf Course, located at Kennedy Park, north of the Fort Dodge Regional Airport.
Emmetsburg Coach Tom Hoover’s squad will be playing with eight other teams on Friday. Additionally, Tyler Kliegl will be playing in the individual medalist competition as well on Friday.
Members of the E’Hawk squad are Tyler Kliegl, Matt Wellik, Robbie Myers, MAtt Stillman,Marc Siemers and Ben McCain.
The district tournament will tee off at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.
